Happy 1st blog

When I was in my 2nd grade in primary level, with an age of 7, I can still clearly remember that I always have this cute little notebook and pen. If you are thinking, yes it’s a Diary! Do you have also when you were still a kid? 🙂

At night, before heading to bed, I’m stuck first on my study table. I won’t miss a night without sharing even just a single sentence on my diary. I can still remember my format, the color and brand of the lil notebooks and pens I used. It was already my hobby to write and share my thoughts since I was a kid, that is why I am now in blog. I was also able to joined our school paper team to write and share my thoughts during my primary level. I think I just stopped having this diary when I was in my 4th or 5th grade because that’s the time when PSP and Mp3 to Mp5 gadgets got so viral for our age.

When I reached my 4th year in Secondary level, I am wondering about blog. What is blog? How to become a blogger? How to do this and that? Until I reached my 1st year in Tertiary level, I was able to meet a lot of bloggers and that’s the time when I already enter the world of blog.

2nd year in Tertiary level came, a requirement to one of our minor subjects is to make our own blog, and good thing I was able to start my own maybe 4-5 months ago.

And now! It’s been a year of intermittent blogging. It’s not easy to become a student-blogger. But, because of the will of wanting to share, I’ll continue what I’ve started. I was also planning before to change my site, buy my own domain and templates for my blog, but I was also thinking that I am not that really active so I should have to control myself in spending money for my blog. Besides, I am still a student. A student with a blogger heart. Also, I think I already posted good contents in here, because I was not expecting that I can gained big hits although I only have a total of 16 posts out of one year. I have so many drafts in here but I was not able to finish it all. lol. I am so happy seeing visitors not just in my country which is the Philippines but also around the world. Thank you everyone for your support and for the time of reading my effortless posts. I feel sorry for being so lazy blogger, I just can’t focus so much in here because school is always my number one priority. But one thing for sure, I’ll promise that I won’t close this page, I’m still gonna share things if I have my vacant time. I love you all. Cheers for many more years to come! In shaa Allah 💖😊❤

Personal: My two girl crushes living from other countries

Let me share you this one personal thing that most people don’t know about me is that, I get more attractive with girls than boys. No! I’m not lesbian. I am 100.1% human lady. Way back to childhood days, some would ask me, “Who is your crush?” and I will answer, “I don’t have any” then they would reply, “Oh! You’re not a normal person”. This thought of everybody got me pissed off. So it popped on my mind to pick randomly among the boys I knew to be my “for joke crush” thing. Yep I did that! I picked so many boys just let people think that I am a normal person. But deep inside, I was thinking, whatever I do, I don’t feel anything with this boy. Hahahaha

For 18 years of existence, I will never forget that I have only two crushes from boys section. It’s a serious crush. It’s true. I mean, it is not for other people’s purpose but really my heart choose it. Hahahaha! Yes seriously, only two and I should say that these two boys are so lucky because I only get my crush after how many decades. lol Nope they are not Artists nor Koreans. They are just ordinary people like me, living in a simple life. First one is way back when I was still in 5th grade and followed by when I was in my 2nd year in High school. If I will include an artist, I will surely put Enrique Gil, the only artist or one of the famous who pinched my heart since before 😉

People would think, I easily get attractive with boys. But nah! Girls can catch my eyes more than boys. I’m not the girl that you’ve known for how many times who would easily get smile, blush, will punch or slap her friends if she saw a handsome man crossing the street. No! I’m not like that. Just like what I’ve said, it will take decades before I will get attractive to a boy.

I really don’t know what I am looking for a boy, but if I am going to generalized it, Brain over handsomeness. Being handsome will just be a bonus for me but intelligence will never fade and that’s the main reason that I will surely like a person.

So let us proceed to the topic that we should really put our focus. So here! I have so many girl crushes around the world. It all started when I made my first ever Instagram account way back 5th of April 2013. But among those crushes, only two beautiful Muslimah’s coming from different world simply would define as my forever girl crushes and I never get disappointed to them.

1. Amila Bahor | @a.bahor

Before anything else, I would like to thank you my dear hun for allowing me to post some of your pictures but I promise her to only post those photos which hides her beautiful face to avoid temptation.

She is Amila Bahor from Europe. She has this perfect and angelic looks. I love her IG feed. Her ootd’s are so heart (she is so stylish yet covering her pearls are still there). If you observed, my pictures now were almost hiding my face and she’s one of the reason of that. One day, we talked and she sent me a picture, showing her whole beautiful face. And the only thing that my lips said is, “Ma shaa Allah, so beautiful”. I am the only one who received that picture, Alhamdulilah she trusts me. “I don’t usually post picture that shows my face, I want to avoid evil eyes”, she said. Ma shaa Allah! This lady is not just physically beautiful but also, she has a beautiful heart and soul. Thank you dear for reminding us everyday to do good deeds in your Instagram’s feed and story. Indeed, you are inspiration to the whole world. Also, your friends are all so beautiful. Truly, a Deen squad! Can’t deny the fact that there’s no single day that I won’t visit your feed. Hope to see you in the near future. If only I have the chance to visit Europe, I will surely look for you. Love you hun! ❤

2. Indah Nada Puspita | @indahnadapuspita

Yaz! Know her, right? The famous Nada coming from Indonesia. Correct me if I am wrong. I don’t really know her exact address cause she is always traveling everywhere. Hihi, such a goal my babe Nada. And I envy you for that. One of the reasons why I really like her is that fashion is her passion. A lot of people knew that I am engaged into fashion, and Nada as well. I think we are both into fashion not just for the sake of likes, favorites, comments, shares, retweets but because this is what our hearts want to flaunt and ventilate. We are not showing off ourselves in order for us to be famous or to get compliments from other people but we know in ourselves that, this is us, this is our style, our way of living our lives and expressing who we are. So last year, she visited my beloved country which is the Philippines. And I am so sad to tell you that I was not able to meet her. I really dream that one day I’ll see you in person. I am inspired since I started to follow you on your Instagram account and that was in the year of 2014, during my 4th year High school days. And until now, I will always be your number 1 fan. This year, you visited my country again, but still I had no chance to meet you since school is my number one priority. But I will always be positive to what have you said that, “Soon, we will see each other”. I am still happy that I was able to talk with you. Such a big opportunity for a die hard fan like me to talk with this beautiful and lovely person. Love you Nada! See you in the future at Indonesia with love ❤ And advance happy wedding to you and your future husband! yiee sparks everywhere!

Assalamu Alaykum to all. Sending hugs and kisses to you my hun Amila and babe Nada 🙂

I grew up not celebrating birthdays in the family because they told and taught me that this is prohibited in Islam as well as Prophet Muhammad (SAW) didn’t include celebrating of birthdays on his practice. Also, ALLAH (SWT) didn’t ask us to do this things. But this time, I’d like to make my Mom’s special day as an opportunity to thank her for everything.

Ma, I know I’m not that showy type of person, but I promise, I have so many things that I want to express to you. ALLAH KNOWS THAT MA.

I am very thankful that you became my Mother for 18 years and for forever. Thank you for everything that you have done for me.

From the time you are still carrying me inside your tummy. From the time you released me in your tummy. From the time you always check me in the hospital after a week/s of giving birth because your princess is a weak baby and I need to stay inside the incubator to survive and be protected. From the time you stand as a Father and Mother in every day of life. From the time you are feeding me. From the time you are changing my clothes. From the time you are sending me to school. From the time you are waking up in the middle of the night just to help me in taking the medicines prescribed by the doctor because I am always admitted in the hospital. From the time you are working so hard to gain money for me to study in a private school and pursue our dreams. From the time you are making everything just to give me my needs and also my wants. From the time you are always reminding me to study so hard for Arabic and English (what we meant here, English is the study to gain degree and profession and the Arabic is for religious aspects). From the time you always remind me about ALLAH, ISLAM AND GOOD DEEDS. From the time you are worried because I have a Boyfriend (Aha, yes! Sometimes I feel like, you don’t want me to have boyfriend for now, but I also feel sometimes that you are teasing me to that person lol). From the time you are worried because I am taking up my course in a far city (but Ma, I am the kindest daughter eva, lol but seriously).

I know these are all just few or simple words to describe all of your sacrifices and for the rest that I haven’t mentioned yet, but you really gave a huge impact to make my life sooo beautiful and made me the person I am today. We know the past and we cannot change that, but one thing for sure, you are the person I met who is so strong and brave. I know I cannot pay everything that you have done for me from the very beginning. But I am always doing my best of everything just to make you very proud in the near future for the things that I have reached (IN SHAA ALLAH). MA, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! And I always miss you, and home. You are always in my du’a, the number one in my du’a. Thank you so much for everything. I am the most blessed person eva because I have the best Mom at the top of the world. Alhamdullilah! ☺

Continue to be a pearl on your own shell with Metro hijab Fashion

Are you familiar with Metro hijab fashion? Yes, the house of modest apparel. They were well known because of their beautiful and elegant muslimah dresses. It was November 2016 when I placed my first order to them. If you don’t know, November is my birth month and it deserves to have something gift for myself. So I scroll down my Facebook and Instagram feed to look for that something.

I have always been following @metrohijab_fashion on instagram since before. Knowing that they are 101% legit and a lot of people recommending this shop made me pulled to order a dress from them. At first, I had a hard time to contact the owner of the shop because she’s so busy in running the business. Don’t you know, she’s not just a simply young entrepreneur, she also sew and designed the dresses that she is selling. She is the amazing Princess Norhanifah Minalang of Facebook.

It took so long before the owner respond to the message that I have sent and both of eyes were always turning into heart shape every time she is posting pictures of her products. I am stuck in choosing between Cindy or Batwing dress. I was also thinking to cancel my order but Alhamdullilah, it’s just only power of patience until she can finally note our orders.

My order arrived exactly the day of my 18th birthday. It made me excited to wear this black cindy dress.

I wore it to one of the events in our school. It feels so comfortable knowing the sizes really fit to myself. That is one thing that I like to this shop. Aside from all of the colors are available, we can ask the owner to adjust the size and the length of our orders plus the fabric itself added extra bonus because of it’s high quality yet still affordable. You cannot find a shop like Metro hijab fashion. I swear! Yes, I have discussed before that it is slightly difficult to have a transaction to the owner, but everything is worth it if you have products from Metro hijab fashion 🙂 I cannot wait to have more orders ❤

Gift from Monisa Modesty with Love

I tried this viral deal on Facebook. I send a message to one of the sellers of hijabs saying, “Hello *insert hijab company name* 500 likes, 300 comments and 100 shares for 2 hijabs. Deal?” Their Hijabs are a little bit pricey, so I was hoping that they will agree to me but knowing the fact that I got this ‘seen’ made me a little bit disappointed.

One night, before going to bed, I just tried to send again a message to Monisa Modesty on Instagram. I am really stalking their shops since before because of the beautiful shades and instagrammable feed as well.

15723901_1738215056204521_572317455_n.png“Hello Monisa. 500 likes, 300 comments, 100 shares for 2 hijabs?”

I didn’t take this message seriously since I don’t want to get disappointed again just like what I have encountered from the other shop. But when I am ready to close my eyes to take a sleep, phone vibrates. That moment, I don’t want to get my phone but I got this feeling that Monisa Modesty agreed to our deal and Alhamdullilah! Seeing this reply from them, made me so excited to post the picture and achieve the goal.

Happy cakes by Zenny M

I feel so sorry for updating so late now. So busy with my vacation last time and now I am having a hard time to put social media on my priorities since I am now facing the half hell world of my course. But still, I won’t stop on sharing and inspiring as well, it will just only come as late update. So here’s another blog that I said last time. Second stop together with @allanachix. Honestly, we are really going back to school to complete all of our requirements after having our lunch at Rekado until we went out and found such a cutie cafe, beside the Rekado. It’s the Happy cakes by Zenny M. Yes! You heard about it? Or have you been here? If not yet, so here’s what’s inside.

Look! This Royalty dresser is so awesome. Of course, as a claimer of princessofthetown, I can’t hold myself not to take a picture of it.

Of course, I and @allanachix really must have our picture together because it’s our date.

The cafe also have good interiors. As what I have said on my recent blog, my instagram’s story messed up and I was not able to download those pictures that I captured. But luckily, these two frames was save on my other app, the two bests in my eyes. I found the first frame as a cute one, and surely will suit for the two of us who were dating. The second one just hit my heart so much. I really took a click of it, that was my favorite among the frames that was being posted on their walls.

The blog will not end until the highlights will come up. The cakeeeeee! So tried their red velvet cupcake. You will not get easily loathe of it’s taste. It’s a big check!!!

You can visit them at 1050 E. Jacinto Extension, Barangay, 11-B, Davao City. More likely, the place is perfect for those who are having an outdoor study because of it’s peaceful ambiance.

Good food with Good interiors at Rekado

Raise your hand if you love to eat too!!! I and @allanachix had our lunch date last wednesday at Rekado Restaurant Filipino Comfort Cuisine located at 1050 Jacinto Extension, Davao City PH. You guys know that I have only one blog about my foodlogue category here, so it popped on my mind to write and share our date. By the way, we took our lunch at Rekado and after that we had our cake date to one of the cafe’s here at Davao, but let’s stop first at Rekado. So here’s a quick shot of mine after having our order to the approachable team of this restaurant 🙂

While waiting for our order, I took some pictures of the interior on my Instagram’s story. Since I didn’t check out if there is an internet connection, so I just save it. But sad to say, my Instagram’s story messed up and those pictures that I took were not able to save. But here is one picture that was left on my VSCO camera. Good thing, it is still Instagrammable and blog worthy picture.

So here’s the highlights. The fooooooood! As you can see, the rice is being put in a bowl made of wood. It’s so cute to see this thing. Truly a Filipino style and brand. The Chicken barbecue is so delicious as well. I love it so much. You can really feel the essence of being a Filipino since this is one of the Filipino’s pride then the way how the taste is being blend is a bonus.

Everything here is an authentic. From their food down to their interiors. Cozy place and Instagram’s feed worthy. Surely, a must-visit place in Davao. Giving you a 5 stars 🙂
